Milled from the finest Buffalo Bone and Horn, the Jazz Tones
represent Timber Tones take on that characteristic Jazz shape. Precision
oriented, they are praised by both Jazzmen and Heavy Music shredders alike. Do
not forget: speed is a by-product of precision.
Jazz Tones feature the all-important Jazz tip, delivering a quicker and more
accurate string release, essential for playing complex melody lines. If you
feel afraid about playing with a pick that has little to no flexibility, then
you will love the chamfer on the Jazz Tones, which eases the flow of the pick
on the strings.
Tone
Buffalo Horn is the middle ground between hard wearing woods
like Ebony, and Buffalo Bone. It is overall a bright material and the Jazz
Tones tip gives it a clear cut picking sound. Horn is fairly neutral on tone,
having a good balance between high and low frequencies restitution.
It should also be noted that Black Horn is very hard wearing and flows
especially well on strings compared to other Horn types.
